I ran the Payson park loop this morning but I didn't extend down into the park, I felt okay but not great but I was glad to get out of bed and finally do it right for a change. My average pace was 8:38 with a total time of 53:48, after the run I did my upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran out to Mini GU via canal road this morning and my legs felt pretty darn good this morning, my pace seemed pretty easy and it was really enjoyable for a change. My average pace was 8:30 with a total time of 51:45, after the run I did my lower body weight training; squats, one legged squats, leg presses and calf raises. One set of each for right now and then as I get stronger I'll get it back to 2 sets for each.  A good run this morning and a great way to start out the day. I guess my daughter Abby is thinking pretty hard about going on a mission for the church, I will support her no matter what she decides,  she's just a great kid and I am so proud of her!!!

See ya tomorrow.

I just ran along Canal road this morning, my legs were pretty dead from the get go and I know it was from the leg strength training yesterday and the plan was for a liter day today anyway so I took it. My average pace was slow at 8:55 with a total time of 46:21, I finished up with some upper body weight training on the Bowflex and then some push-ups.  I might try some hills tomorrow but I will have to see how my legs are recovering and then go from there.

See ya tomorrow.

The plan today was to run Harrys Hill and of course the one day that I decide to run it there is a hurricane force head wind, but I went for it anyway because I am a crazy runner and thats what we do! So I headed out to the base of Harry's and then up to the Mailboxes over to Loafer canyon road and then back to canal road and then back to the house, by the time I was done the old legs were pretty hammered.  My average pace was pretty bad for this route at 9:09 with a total time of 1:05:27, the combination of the wind and the hills just really did me in but I stayed with it and I am glad I got her done! No lower body strength training this morning for the simple fact that I think the hills and the wind were more than enough.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran out past Gu and then down into the riverbottoms, the plan was to run 10 miles and then the next few weeks add a couple miles to my long runs each week. My average pace was pretty steady at 8:30 and my total time was 1:25:41, I felt okay through out but I didn't feel wonderful either but it was a good run and it was a pretty good week of training for a change, at least for me anyway.  The only time I stopped was to fuel up and I think I drank to much at Gu when I was on my way back but pretty good for the most part.

See ya tomorrow.
