I decide to do some hill running today, but I also told myself that if my IT band started to hurt I would stop and walk so I ran up to the mail boxes via Mount Loafer school road and I then headed back the same way I came. After about a mile I stopped and stretched and I wanted to keep the pace slow like right around a 9:30 pace and I was able to do that, on the way back down I tried to keep a good rhythm but not push it and I had  a 7:45 mile in there and an 8:00 and then when I reached canal road the last .52 was at a 7:30 pace... Total time for  the 5.52 was 48:12, average pace was 8:44 and my HR average was 143. When I returned home I ran a couple of miles with my son Ethan and the first mile he wanted to push the pace so we did that one in 8:43 and then we took it easy on the way back, total time was 18:38. My IT band is a little sore but I have iced it and rolled it so I am hoping that it will recover for tomorrow, but I will have to see. I still don't know about SG yet but I will see how the next month or so goes and then I will see where I am at;-)

See you tomorrow.

Keep moving in the right direction and STG should be a go even if you just come do it for fun. Good job on the hills.

Way to hang in there Bro. Just listen to your body and take what it is willing to give, If it tells you slow the pace then do it. Stay tuff and you will make SGM.
