Well I never thought I would be so over joyed to get a 10 miler in but thats what I am;-) My IT Band started to hurt a little bit towards the end but for the most part I feel like I could have went farther but I decided to not over do it and stop at 10 miles... The average pace for the first 8 was 8:16, so pretty up beat, at least for me anyway and then I ran a couple miles with my son Ethan at a 9:00 pace to round out the 10. The first 8 miles I ran in 1:06:31 and then with Ethan we ran 2 miles in 18:46 mile 1 was 8:41 and then mile 2 in 9:25... It was a pretty good workout over all, I am hoping that next week I can run more in the 12 to 13 miles on Saturday and then just slowly increase each week and then start adding in some hills.

I plan on rolling my leg after I finish posting my run for today, see ya Monday.

Clay, nice workout, best part is the run with your son. Pay it forward.
