I just lost my whole entry so I'm re-typing again, I hate that! Hip and leg are pretty sore, I was able to get in the run and that is about it. Average pace was real slow 9:56 total time was 50:01 average heart rate was 134. I did some core training and then did the weight training on my legs, I am hoping that I can recover enough to run tomorrow, but we shall see... I ran the mini Gu corner route but stopped about a half mile short as not to over do it. I ran into Pat Loss and chatted for a minute and then I headed for home, very, very, very slowly.

Clay no amount of slow is too slow when it comes to overcoming an injury. The trick is finding out how much your body will allow you to do but yet still stay in healing mode. I've had some injuries that I can pretty much train like normal through and be ok if I just do some icing, etc. Other times I'm OK as long as I don't do any speed. Then of course there are the times when I have to take a few days or weeks off to get any healing to happen. Good luck finding just the right balance that works for you. I think you are headed in the right direction.

No shame in keeping it slow my friend, if you can run and heal at the same time you are killing two birds with one stone. Keep it up.
