55 minutes on the elliptical keeping my heart rate above 155 for some of the workout! I think the average was around 135, I then threw in some stretching after that. My leg was a little stiff when I started but by the end it felt fine. When my heart rate is around 135 it is right around a 9 minute mile but from 145 to 155 it is more like and 8 in a half minute mile and most of the workout was in that range. The rpm never got below 90 and I had it as high as 120 my average for that was around 100 so I was clipping along at a pretty good pace! I was sure sweating by the time I was finished... Of the 55 minutes 5 minutes of that was a cool down, which felt pretty good.

I was able to watch some of the old TV series Starsky and Hutch, I found a station on my satellite that shows nothing but old stuff so it was pretty cool...

That's about it, see ya tomorrow!

Great workout Clay! You're becoming such a madman on the elliptical you may just find yourself in better shape than you were before once the injury issues get worked out and you get back to running. Hey have fun sweating to the "oldies", but stick with Starsky and Hutch and stay away from that Richard Simmons weird duck.

When you can't run... getting the heart rate up for over and hour and sweating it out is almost as good. Good job! Keep burning off calories and you'll be able to maintain some good fitness.
