I did not get up this morning mainly because when I woke up on Sunday my right hip was sore with every step! Its right on the hip bone on my side right at the top of the hip on the bone, I have no idea how I did it but running is not an option. I will try the elliptical when I get home and see if that aggravates it. I don't remember feeling anything wired on Saturday, I actually had a pretty good run, so I don't know what the heck to think?! I just can't catch a break! Hopefully it is just a minor set back, I was starting to feel pretty darn good too. If anyone else out there has had this I would like to know just to see  if there's a way to get it feeling better.

I'll let you know how the elliptical goes later today, but if there's any pain I will not do that either.

See ya later.

Resting seems to be helping heal the hip pain, so I will take it easy for a little bit until I get Pain free and start up again... The elliptical wasn't bad but I could feel it a little bit so I am reluctant to do that either, I would rather get healthy than just get more injured than I have already been the last 6 months. So we will see how this week goes and then go from there.

See ya tomorrow.

Hip feels a little better today, but is still there... I will continue to take it easy through the end of this week and then see how I am doing later on in the week. I forgot to mention that yesterday was my Wife's 40th birthday, over the hill but as pretty as ever! Its a tradition to turn on the Christmas lights at our house on her birthday which is usually 1 month before Christmas. Those of you who know me have witnessed my light display and it isn't to shabby, a little white trash but not bad;-) But anyway, Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you all.  Just a note; over 15 thousand lights, give or take a few;-)

See ya tomorrow.

I decided to go out and try a run and see how the old hip is holding up, and it seemed to do alright, it was still there but it was more than an annoyance than painful so I went with it... Ran out to the base of Harry's Hill and then headed back to the house, I took a couple of breaks along the way and just enjoyed the beautiful morning. My hip felt okay but its always hard to tell until later in the day so time will tell I guess, my average pace was 8:38 with my HR average at 153 and my total time was 39:11. My pace for most of the run was up beat and then the last mile I slowed down and took it pretty easy. After the run I jumped on the elliptical for 20 minutes and finished with some stretching, so all in all it was a pretty good workout I just hope I can keep it up in the weeks to come. Those of you who know where I live I hope you come by and check out the lights, they look pretty good. I'm still working out some of the bugs but so far so good.

PM- Hip is really sore again, so I am a little disappointed about that I will see how it is doing on Monday and then I will go from there... I can tell that its muscle because I can simulate the pain when I'm stretching and sitting down watching TV, bummer... The way things are looking right now I might be taking the rest of the year off and just start over again in January, pretty frustrated at this point and I can't figure out why I keep having these problems and all the set backs, but I also know I have to keep trying because if I don't I will be one stressed out mess!... I don't know?

Later

Merry Christmas

See ya Monday.
