I would like to stay healthy this year and qualify for Boston, 2008 was pretty tough injury wise...

Stay healthy and keep running until I'm really old, and maybe run a sub 3 hour marathon...

Finally home from Hawaii and I finally got another run in. I ran in Hawaii a couple days but then I feel into the Island laziness:) I ran out to Mini Gu and then back to the house, I felt okay but still really tired from not sleeping for 35 hours on the trip home. We didn't fly out until 9:40 pm Sunday and then I didn't sleep at all through the flight and then I was toast yesterday, still feel like I'm in a fog, it was a great trip no doubt. Average pace was 8:47 with a total time of 53:30, I'm really going to try and get back at it, no more excuses.

Morning run out towards the Payson Park but Is topped a little short and cut out the rollers, I felt good on the way out but on the way back I got pretty darn tired, the last mile or so was pretty much a death march. My average pace was 9:03 with a total time of 56:24, I finished up with some upper body weight training and then some push-ups. It was a pretty good workout but my legs are pretty dead, I just have to stay consistent and hopefully my body will cooperate. It was sure cool this morning, trying to get use to that as well.

Afternoon run today and I ran out to Mini GU and then back to the house via canal road road, felt pretty good for the most part I tried to pick it up on the middle miles and I was able to do some sub 8:30 miles, which is pretty good for me since my injury. Average pace 8:43 with a total time of 52:58, I finished up with a couple of sets of one legged squats, 15 reps in each. feeling good about my week so far, I will probably have a lighter day tomorrow like 3 to 4 miles but I'll have to see how I feel. If I feel good then I will go the full 6, if not then I won't.
