I was able to get out the door around 6 or so am this morning and I headed out to Gu and then down into the river bottoms and then came back the same way all via canal road. I ran into My brother and his son and we chatted for awhile, it is always good to know that there are other friends out there getting after it! I felt okay for the most part but after 8 miles I got a little light headed so I stopped at the Stake Center and took some GU and some Gatorade shots and it seemed to help. When I got back to the house I went for another 3 mile loop by my house, my average pace for the run was 8:25 with a total time of 1:50:47, I had some quicker miles in the middle of the run, 8:09, 8:16 and then my last mile was my fastest at 8:12, they felt really comfortable and I wasn't really working to hard. I hope I can continue on this road that I'm on and stay injury free, it would be a first for me in getting ready for SG.

See ya Monday.
