I don't know where I finished, one print out said 78th but who knows and I don't know how I did in my age divison, I am hoping maybe a top 10. I felt pretty good throughout the whole race started out a little faster than I should have but I just went with it. My shin splints on my left tibia where okay during the race, but right now it is really sore,  I iced for about 15 minutes but it is still really sore. My splits went as follows; 6:48(148), 6:55(161), 6:57(157), 7:11(158), 7:17(158), 7:29(160) hill, 7:39(166)hill & headwind, 7:14(162), 7:19(161), 7:16(162), 7:28(162) this split seems  to be wrong, because the next one was 7:03(166) I was crusing pretty good the last three miles so miles 11 and 13 seemed wrong 7:17(168), 43.15 for the last little bit... My splits for miles 11 and 13 seemed more like mile 12,  7:03ish my heart rate was around the same as mile 12 there was alot of variance that just didn't seem right.

All in all I PR'd from last year, average pace was 7:13 and the heart rate average was 160 so a good tempo run. I wanted to do some cool down miles but had to get back home for the Salem Day's Parade, so I only was able to do the race miles today, once they have the results listed I will update...

Good job goes out to Sasha and the other fast running blog participants...
