I wasn't able to blog after my run this morning so I'm doing it now... I played Golf this morning so I was kind of in a hurry, shot 74. As I started running this morning I was really concerned about my hip and leg but after about 5 or 10 minutes it seemed to loosen up so that was a good sign. Kept the pace easy for the most part and ran on the flats so to speak, no hills, my legs are pretty tired but I think that is a combination of this mornings run and walking 18 holes of golf! My average pace was 9:28 with my heart rate at 145,total time was 47:39. I am hoping my heart rate will come down as I continue to run, usually at that pace its in the lower 130's. Ran into Pat and Kent and also so Tom, was able to stop and talk to my brother as well, it was good to see him out in the morning so he doesn't have to fight the heat!

Well that's about it, I'll see you on Monday with hopefully no injuries!

Clay it was great to see you out this morning. I'm glad to hear everything went pretty well and the legs are holding up so far.

Nice job on the 74 golf round. Now was that for 18 holes or 9......? :-))
