So I took last week off to try and get some of these nagging injuries to try and heal up, mainly my back and then my lower left leg, things seemed to be a lot better today so that was a good sign but I will see how the rest of the week goes. I ran the Old Blue Mailbox route today and I also extended out towards the Stake center, talked to Pat Loss for a bit and then back home. Mid run I forgot to turn my watch on and then I thought it was on but I actually shut it off so my time and distance were all screwed up. best that I could figure was my distance was 6.15 with a total time of 51:33, average pace was 8:25. I had a few 8 minute miles in the middle so I counted those as MP.

I ran Payson Canyon with the boys, Pat, Chad, Dan, and Ryan, We took it easy for the most part but we did have 3 7:50 miles towards the end. My legs are feeling it pretty good mainly in my quads, my average pace was 8:03 with a total time of 1:05:42. We will do this run most every Tuesday until the SGM, its a good downhill stretch, as we get further in to the training cycle we will head further up the canyon.

I had a pretty good start to the week but then it went down hill from there. I was up all night last night and I only got about and hour of sleep so running was out of the question. I need to re-evaluate things in my life right now and I don't know where running fits, if it fits. I'll let you know when I figure that out.

I ran the Payson Park Loop but I didn't extend down to the park, I felt pretty good at the first but then not so good towards the end but it was still good getting out considering how last week went. My average pace was 8:28 with a total time of 52:45, I'm a little concerned with my calves they were a little knotted today towards the end of the run so I hope it was just from the downhill training last week, I guess we will see tomorrow when I run Payson canyon again.

Payson canyon run with the boys, started a little higher up this time but i stopped at Beer Can flats as I did not want to over do it. Quads felt better today but my calves are still feeling a little Knotty and I don't know why, hopefully they don't get to bad and I'll be able to run tomorrow. My average pace was 8:11 with a total time of 1:02:38, tried to take it as easy as possible. It was a good run and a good start to the day.

I had to run after work today as I had to ride out to Roosevelt to see a client so I was up pretty early so i could get out there to see him. My back is really bad, after running Payson canyon yesterday I laid down on the couch for a little bit and some how wrenched it out pretty good... Riding in my truck today didn't help so I tired to take it pretty easy just to see if running would loosen it up. It took about 2 miles or so and then it felt like it was improving so hopefully tomorrow it will be feeling better. My average pace was 8:32 with a total time of 44:14, I ran out past the Stake Center and towards Mini GU, I was not use to heat and I had to stop along the way because I wasn't use to the hotter temperature. I don't know how My brother Curtis does it running in the afternoon, he truly is a tough dude.

I was out the door this morning by 6am and I ran out past Gu corner and down into the river bottoms and then back to the house, then out past the old barn on canal road and then back to the stake center and then back to the house. I felt pretty good for the most part and my back was finally loosening up so it was bad at all, my average pace was 8:25 with a total time of 1:51:24. It felt pretty comfortable and my last 3 miles were in the sub 8:15 range so a pretty good up beat run. It was a good end to the week.

I ran out past the old barn on Canal road and then towards Payson and then back to thew house, I then ran down to the high school track to help my wife with her Cheer team, she wants me to run with them to get them into shape. I ran with them for just about a mile and then I ran home which was another mile, when I arrived at the school I forgot to turn off my darn watch so it screwed up my pace time and total time so I am having to estimate. On the way down to the school its all down hill and I had 7:46 mile so I'm counting that as MP mile. It was a good start to the week, I finished up with my upper body weight training and then some push-ups. Average pace was 8:18 with a total time of 58:09, I ran about 3/4 of a mile with the girls but I didn't start my watch for that but I'm counting it in my total miles, pace was about a 8:30 for that .75.

I ran down to the high school to find a course that I could run with the girls, after measuring that out I ran 6x100 repeats on the track as fast as I could go and then on the last one I did a 400 as fast as I could go. After that I ran a 400 cool down and then waited for the girls to show up. I ran with them for a mile and then ran home for a total of 6.80, my average pace was 8:29 with 1.3 of MP miles in the middle (7:54) total time of 57:24... After the run I did some stretching and then some upper body weight training and then I finished up with some push-ups. I'm really proud of the Cheer girls they are working hard and doing really good.

I ran out past Mini GU Corner and then back to the house via canal road, I felt better towards the end than I did at the first, a little tired from yesterdays speed workout I guess.. After the run I did some lower body weight training and then I jumped on the elliptical for 10 minutes at a pretty brisk pace to finish up. It was a good workout and a good start to the day.

Nice Morning run out past GU Corner and down into the river bottoms, I ran a mile loop down in there and then headed back to the house, after getting back I ran out past the old barn on canal road to finish up. I felt pretty good for the most part, my last 2 miles were at MP which was 8:00, 7:48, my average pace was 8:22 with a total time of 2:00:00 straight up.  I am still having some pain in my lower left leg but as I get loosened up it seems to be fine, its a little sore now but not to bad. This was a good end to the week.

I ran out to the old Barn on canal road and then back to the house and then I ran down to the high school to meet the girls, I ran with them for a mile and then I ran back to the house. After getting back to the house I tacked on a little more to get to just over 6 miles. My average pace for the run was 8:32 with a total time of 52:28, after the run I did my upper body weight training and then I finished up with some push-ups. I felt okay this morning and I am proud of the girls they are running really well. I finished the Art City Am this weekend and I played pretty good for me, with the limited playing time and not a lot of practice I shot 75,78,75 and I won some money to boot so it was a pretty good weekend, now its time to buckle down and get on with the SGM training.

I was suppose to run Payson Canyon with the guys but slepted in again. No run today, but I did take the day off from work and I went to strawberry to fish... I caught 4 really nice ones in about 3 hours so it was a pretty good day.

I ran out past the stake center for a few miles and then I headed down to the high school to meet the girls, I ran with them for 1.25 miles and then I ran back to the house, I stopped and got a drink and then went out for another mile. I felt okay but the pain in my lower left leg was a little bit more of a bother, but it felt better after getting warmed up, so I hope it doesn't get any worse because that would tick me off for sure! My average pace was 8:32 with a total time of 1:01:24, I then did my upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups.

I ran out to Mini GU and then back to the house via canal road, my lower left leg was really painful for most of the way, it did feel better towards the end but that is not a good sign. I'll see how it goes tomorrow. I am not really happy, if i am out again I might be done with running period! I'll try and stay positive and take it a day at a time, my average pace was way slower than normal at 8:52 with a total time of 1:02:41.

Well, my run started out kind of bad, my lower left leg was hurting pretty bad and I didn't think I was going to comtinue but then after about 2.5 miles it started to feel better and I was able to get a pretty good run in... I started a little later than normal so I wasn't able to get the 15 miles in but considering how things started I feel like 12 miles was just right, my average pace was 8:35 with a total time of 1:44:02.  I plan on having my Brother- in-law work on it again this afternoon so I hope I can stay a haed of it and get things feeling better. Who Knows.

I ran out to the old barn on canal road and then I turned and headed back to the house, I was having stomach issues which hindered me pretty good back to the house. After taking care of business I headed down to the High School to meet the girls and help them with their 1.25 mile run, my legs was about like Saturday, it felt tolerable after about 2 miles or so. I ran with the girls and they did great and then I ran back to the house, my pace was slower than normal but I just felt tired but that's okay I was able to at least get a run done. After the run I did my upper body weight training and then finished up with push-ups. I just have to hope that this leg issue doesn't get any worse and i can continue to train, if not then I will be really pissed off.!
