I decided to start with the elliptical and test my calf and see if things are improving, I had no pain which is a good sign but then again I really never had any pain while on the elliptical, so who knows... I did 40 minutes with no resistance and I kept the RPM at 90, so just nice and steady, nothing to hard. After the elliptical I did my upper body weight training and then some push-ups. This has been a tough 2 weeks of in-activity but I have played a few rounds of golf and last Friday I was able to shoot a pretty good round of 68, which is my only sub-par round of the year most everything else has been in the high 70's, kind of frustrating! But my whole life is pretty frustrating right now so it seems to fit me!!!  My plan is to try the elliptical this week and then if the pain stay's away then I will continue the elliptical until the first of next month and then start running, hopefully! I have to see if it is getting better, if I even want to take a try at St. George, so that is the plan and I am optimistic about getting there but I know that could change so I will have to just deal with it and if I can't get ready in time and then that's just life!

See ya tomorrow.

Clay, hang in there, frustrating process, runners gotta run, feel your pain. Keep up the hard cross training.

You will be fine little Bro. Just come back in little baby steps and you will be fine.
