I woke up around 6:30 and got all my gear on and then headed out the door. No rain which was a good sign so I started out towards GU corner, and I think I ran into Tyler S on canal road and he was cruisin!  I tried to keep the pace pretty even around a 8:30 pace, but I seemed to get faster the closer I got to GU corner and by the time I hit my 5 mile mark I was averaging a 8:20 pace which is a little fast for me for a training run. On the way back to my house the pace stayed about the same so for a training run I thought the pace was pretty good for me. I ran into all the usual suspects, all the Spanish Fork crew, they are all so nice and they are always inviting me out to join them, I might just have to take them up on it one of these Saturdays;-) My average pace was 8:22 with my HR average at 150, total time was 1:24:17, so all in all a pretty good longish fun for me and I hope that bodes well for me next week at the Hurricane Half...

See ya on Monday.

That was me that you passed. I would have turned around and talked to you but I was in a hurry to get home so that Kellie could go out. Plus I was on my last mile and was trying to finish strong, that is why it looked like I was cruising. You are looking great. I would hook up with the SF group, they are fun and very knowledgeable. I think that you would like it.
