I ran out to Payson Park and then headed back home my legs felt pretty good this morning which is a pleasant surprise after my long run on Saturday... I had a couple of semi Marathon pace miles sandwich in between my slower miles those were7:50 (150) and 8:01(152) respectively. My average pace for the run was 8:25 with a total time of 1:00:08, my average heart rate was 146 so a pretty productive run all in all. I am hoping to incorporate Harry's Hill into the mix this week and see how I do, I haven't ran that route for about 5 months but I feel like I'm ready.

See ya tomorrow.

Clay,

Thanks for your sympathy and comments on my father in law!

Tom's been telling me about Harry's Hill. He said he will help incorporate that into my summertime marathon training.

Now that I've met you it would be really nice to meet Cindie some day. I wish she were a runner too! Maybe we will have to have a Utah County runner dinner sometime that non running spouses can come to. Good job on the run this morning!

Nice run Clay, glad to hear the leg is feeling better. Harry's hill doesn't sound like too much fun but I'll bet it's a great workout.

Kim- that would be fun. Cindie would love it she would talk your ear off!!!

Jeff- Thanks for the encouaragement. Harry's Hill is brutal but I am kind of excited to see how I will handle it...

From Tom on Mon, Mar 03, 2008 at 15:50:26

Harry's hill can be pretty brutal, however if you ever want to REALLY have some fun you need to run up Loafer mountain up to the cabins. It makes Harry's not seem so bad anymore. Need to watchout for bears though.
