I did not run yesterday as it was my Birthday and I had to have my blood drawn and I was fasting and couldn't eat so I decided to bag it! I know Clyde will run his age but at 46 I just didn't have it in me, so I hope I didn't let SuperFly down! But I did punish myself this morning for not running yesterday I ran Harry's Hill so I feel that the scale is some what even after today... I pushed it pretty good today, not MP but I did get stronger as the run went on, so I basically ran Harry's Hill and then came back the same way, so good hill work both ways. I had a negative split on the way back and I had a couple of miles in the 8:00 range so I counted those as MP miles even though they were about 30 seconds off each, I progressed each mile on the way back and those went like this; 8:37, 8:21, 8:03, 7:55. Not real fast but considering I had just run Harry's I'll take it, average pace was 8:38 with my heart rate average at 151 with my total time at 57:45:-)

I will plan on running Harry's once a week from here on out, except for next week since I will be doing a mini taper for the Hurricane Half. Maybe I will alternate between Harry's and Loafer just to break it up, should be a fun summer... NOT!

See ya tomorrow.

Clay, 46 miles, happy birthday, 46 miles this week would be great. As we get older the whole week counts.
